Jooli builds demand forecasts for lab supply distributors from their order history. Jooli is a product of Applied Crew, Inc., Oakland, California, USA, which is responsible for your information under this policy. This policy covers this website, the Jooli app, and the calls, emails and projects that come from them. Questions go to [email protected].

Details you give us: your name, email address, company and role, and whatever you tell us when you book a call or email us.

Business data you choose to send us for a demo, pilot or ongoing work, such as order lines, product lists, stock levels and supplier lead times. We ask for customer accounts as IDs or company names and do not need names or contact details of individual people at your customers.

Jooli app accounts: your name, work email, company and role in your company's Jooli workspace, and a record of the actions you take there.

Usage data: pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location from your IP address and, unless you opt out, recordings of how pages are used with anything typed into forms hidden. We only collect this with cookies if you have not opted out.

If we emailed you first, we found your work email and role from public business sources.

When your company connects Salesforce, Dynamics 365, Power BI, Teams or Planner, Jooli copies the records it needs into your company's private workspace, hosted on Amazon Web Services in the United States. Answers and reports are written by Claude (Anthropic) using read-only access to your workspace, and nothing is written back to your systems unless someone at your company approves it. Neither we nor Anthropic use this data to train AI models. For this data we act on your company's instructions, under our agreement or data processing agreement with them. Disconnecting a system deletes the records copied from it.

To hold calls, answer your messages, and build, check and deliver forecasts for you. Data you send us is used only for your own forecasts. It is not pooled with other companies' data, not used to serve other clients and not sold.

We also use usage data to keep the site working and secure, and we meet our legal obligations.

Where the EU or UK GDPR applies, we rely on our contract with you or your company to provide the service, on our legitimate interest in running and securing Jooli and in contacting businesses that may be interested in it, on your consent for analytics cookies where the law requires it, and on legal obligations.

Service providers that help us run Jooli, and may use your information only to provide their service to us: Amazon Web Services and Vercel (hosting), Clerk (sign-in), Composio (connections to Microsoft systems), Anthropic (AI answers and reports), PostHog (analytics), Intercom (support), Google (email) and Stripe (payments). The current list for the app is available on request.

Authorities, when the law requires it.

We are happy to sign a mutual NDA or a data processing agreement before you send any business data.

We and our providers process information in the United States. Where the law requires it, transfers from the EEA, UK or Switzerland are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (and its UK and Swiss extensions) or by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Essential cookies keep the site working and remember your cookie choice. Analytics cookies tell us how the site is used. You can opt out of analytics cookies at any time, and we treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as an opt-out.

Change your cookie choice

Business data you send us is kept while we are working together and deleted when you ask or when the work ends, whichever comes first. If we emailed you first and you did not reply, we keep your details for up to 12 months after our last contact, or remove them straight away if you ask. Other information is kept for as long as we need it for the purposes above and as long as tax and accounting rules require. After that we delete it or make it anonymous.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or limit how we use it. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. If your data is in your company's Jooli workspace, we may refer your request to your company and help them answer it. You will not be treated differently for using these rights. If you are in the EEA or the UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If a change is significant we will tell the people it affects by email.
